HÄR ÄR VÄRLDENS 500 BÄSTA LÅTAR

Att lista världens 500 bästa låtar är egentligen omöjligt, men jag har gjort ett försök – som motvikt till P3:s lista över de 300 bästa låtarna från 1964, då kanalen startade, och fram till nu.

Robyns Dancing on my own, som förvånande nog toppar P3:s lista, som presenterades i september, finns inte med på min. Men jag försäkrar, jag gillar hennes musik, men den platsar inte på min lista.

Jag har under en månads tid valt låtar från 50-talet och framåt och fokus ligger på 50, 60, 70, och 80-tal. Eftersom konkurrensen är stor så finns inte så många ”nya” låtar med, från 2000 och framåt. Det är en brist förstås, men det ska erkännas, jag har för lite kunskap generellt om musik som har släppts de senaste dryga 20 åren, även om jag lyssnar på en del nyare musik också. Referenserna finns dock i musiken från 60-talet fram till 80-talet.

En del artister är listade med fler än en låt eftersom det inte går att bortse från att en artist/grupp har gjort flera odödliga låtar.

Listan färgas förstås av vad jag tycker själv, men strävan har varit att få med låtar som på ett mer ”objektivt” plan helt enkelt måste vara med, som är milstolpar i rock- och pophistorien.

Ett mål med listan har också varit att få med låtar från rockens barndom och olika genrer. Jag är fullt medveten om att många grupper och artister saknas.

Låtarna är inte rangordnade och de som är svartmarkerade ligger mig särskilt varmt om hjärtat. Hela listan finns nedanför Spotifyspelaren här.
